Competitions Department Vacancies


KartSport New Zealand is seeking applications for three key positions in the Competitions Department. Details as follows:

Competitions Manager

With the pending retirement of our current Competitions and Permits Manager, John Lennox, at the end of August 2016, KartSport New Zealand is seeking applications for this key role from both inside and outside the sport. This appointment includes a full voting role as an appointed member of the KartSport New Zealand Executive.

Permits Manager

This role is currently being performed by the Competitions Manager, however we plan to establish it as a stand alone position. A well planned and resourced Competition Calendar is key to the ongoing health of the sport and the Permits Department is the key operating function to ensure this is a reality.

Race Officials Training Co-Ordinator

This key overseeing and mentoring role is crucial in underpinning KartSport New Zealand's drive to increase recruitment and retention of Volunteer Race Officials. The ability to attract, process, support and promote volunteers via a knowledgeable, efficient and user friendly process in now in place. KartSport New Zealand, having invested in simplified processes and the development of On-Line Training Modules, is keen to place and support a new leader for this crucial role.
