Leading KartSport Series Combine Again For 2015

Following a very constructive meeting on 17 June involving all North Island Series promoters and a number of NI Clubs, KartSport New Zealand is pleased to confirm that the two leading series, NZ Rotax Max Challenge and ProKart, will continue to run together in 2015. Both the NZ Rotax Max Challenge and the ProKart series continue to form one of the many pillars to KartSport New Zealand's pathways to success both locally and on the world stage.

Each of the six rounds will be run over two days to an identical format. Respective elite Rotax and KZ2 gearbox classes, including Masters divisions, will be confirmed later.

Both promoters will now actively engage with potential host Clubs with a view to confirming dates and venues before 30-6-14. KartSport New Zealand intends to fully draft the complete 2015 Event Calendar prior to the 2014 National Conference on 30/31 August.

KartSport New Zealand would like to thank all those that attended the meeting and, in particular, all the various series promoters including our traditional “Top Half” and “WPKA Goldstar” series organisers, for the positive manner in which they have agreed to cooperate in order for these leading series to continue to work together for the benefit of all concerned.
