BIREL S5 ROTAX CHASSIS DEBUT

The KartSport Wellington Club Championships saw the debut of the new Birel S5 chassis in the Rotax Light class.Birel team wellington14.jpg

Patrick Davy, in only his first competitive race meeting in Rotax Light, finished first equal after two days of racing, only to loose first place on a count back, despite running an old 2005 generation Rotax engine. This first showing was truly impressive demonstrating the real potential of this exciting new Birel model

In the Junior Yamaha class the new Birel R30C-Y EVO chassis performed very well driven by Ethan Hourigan. In only his first season Ethan finished 3rd behind two very experienced drivers and showing true speed lapping faster and faster as the weekend progressed.

Kartworks, the NZ Birel importer is looking for drivers interested in these new chassis.Bireldavy14.jpg
