BILLY FRASER ON TRACK FOR ROK CUP FINAL IN ITALY

Young Kiwi karter Billy Frazer has completed his first test in the run-up to the annual ROK Cup International Final meeting at Lonato in Italy this weekend.

Last weekend Frazer, 12, from Pukekohe, finished 39th (from an original field of 103) in the Mini ROK class at the Bridgestone SuperCup meeting held at the same track.

The youngster qualified 57th and had a best finish of ninth through his three heats before ending up 23rd in in his heats' group and ninth in the GK Trophy race.

The ROK Cup International Final is an annual event for 360 drivers from Vortex ROK (engine) categories from 37 different countries around the world with Frazer earning his place to represent New Zealand thanks to top performances in the Vortex Mini ROK class here.

At the South Garda track this weekend he will be one of 140 entered drivers in the Mini ROK class and part of a five-B Frazer testing wet 2015Lonato.jpgstrong Mini ROK team run by top Swedish Tony Kart team Ward Racing, with the other four drivers from South Africa.
