 KARTERS PARTNER WITH CARTER'S

Carter's helping karters?  Or karters helping Carter's?  Whichever way you look at it KartSport New Zealand's new partnership with nationwide tyre retail chain Carter's Tyre Service is a deal made in marketing heaven.

Carter's Tyre Service is an independent, family-owned-and-run business with 36 branches across the North Island and Upper South Island, and affiliated with six General Tyres branches in Otago and Southland.

The new partnership arrangement enables every competing karter in the country to run a Carter's Tyre Service or General Tyres (depending on the club they belong to) decal strip across the top of their helmet visor.  And, better yet, affiliated KartSport New Zealand club members will get special deals on tyres and tyre related services at Carter's Tyre Service and General Tyres branches nationwide.

The partnership also includes substantial support for KartSport New Zealand's ongoing operations including the soon to be announced KartSport Academy Coach training and new technology/cameras and training to assist Race Officials to manage on-track activity.

The partnership has been further boosted via the support of Goodyear & Dunlop Tyres (NZ) Ltd with an “exclusive offer”Stella1crop.jpg only available to KartSport New Zealand members who purchase Dunlop or Goodyear branded tyres for their cars, commercial and agricultural vehicles too.  Quality branded tyres on and off the track has to be a winning combination, no matter what.

"It certainly is a partnership with a lot of potential," says KartSport New Zealand President Graeme Moore. "Karting is the first step on the motorsport ladder and as such offers a company like Carter's Tyre Service a group of potential customers from Whangarei to Invercargill with a strong family focus, and one which is constantly being refreshed."

As a member of one such family, Carter's Tyre Service General Manager Matt Carter certainly needed little convincing when he was approached with the partnership offer.

"Like a lot of people in the sport we're passionate about all forms of motorsport and when our daughter Stella expressed interest in having a go in a kart we found ourselves going down the track of finding out what club was closest, what classes there were and how she could try out driving to see if she liked it”.

"In doing so we discovered a fantastic family-oriented activity run by people who would bend over backwards to help you. The promotional partnership with KartSport New Zealand is, if you like, our way of returning the favour" Matt says.

Kicking off today the relationship with Carter’s Tyre Service offers KartSport New Zealand Members and volunteer officials preferential buying on Dunlop and Goodyear branded tyres in line with KartSport New Zealand’s national partnership with the Dunlop brand.

To take advantage of this exclusive offer just drive in to any Carter’s Tyre Service or General Tyres stores nationwide and present your KartSport New Zealand Licence  (with your Member Code on the inside front cover).  Visit www.carterstyres.co.nz or www.generaltyres.co.nz to find your local store.  NB: Officials and Volunteers Cards  (with Member Code) will be distributed over the next 10 days so that all those who support karting in New Zealand can also take advantage of this exciting partnership.

Happy karting everyone from Carters Tyre Service and General Tyres!
