KartSport New Zealand and KartSport Marlborough are pleased to announce that the 2014 event will be broadcast live on-line on both Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th April.

Over 150 of New Zealand’s top karters will go head to head at KartSport Marlborough’s Cresswell Electrical Raceway on the 19th and 20th of April. From the youngsters (7-12 years old) in the Cadet class to the seniors (+15 years old) in the 45hp, 6 speed, 135 kph KZ2 rocket ships, you can be assured of close and exciting racing, with five classes on Saturday 19th and four classes on Sunday 20th.

The grid positions for the Heats will be determined from Time Trials held on Friday 18th. All classes will contest two 8 lap Heats (fastest from Qualifying to the front). The sum of the Heat results will set the grid for an 11 lap Prefinal for each class which determines the grid for the, winner takes all, respective 17 lap Finals.

The nine Final winners will be crowned 2014 Cresswell Electrical KartSport New Zealand National Sprint Champions for their respective class.
