North Island Champs, Taranaki
Pacific Kartsport’s Monaco Chassis was the only chassis brand to win more than one title at the 2012 North Island Championships, coming by the way of Campbell Joyes and Andy Schofield.
Campbell Joyes showed a clean set of heels in Junior Yamaha, qualifying pole then going onto win both heats, pre final and final to pick up his first North Island title in his Monaco X128c, also joining him on the podium was older brother Thomas Joyes in 3rd and Christchurch based Ryan Yardley 5th  in their Monaco chassis.
The following day Andy Schofield showed the Monaco X128c chassis was also superior in the wet conditions, going on to win the Yamaha Light title in a very wet Sunday final, joining him in the top 6 was Rhys Tinney in 4th position.
Other Pacific Kartsport customers to enjoy top 6 results was Matthew Payne 3rd place Junior Restricted, Kaleb Ngatoa 4th place Junior Restricted, Dylan Smith 5th place Junior Restricted all driving Monaco Junior chassis, Dylan Drysdale 4th place KF3 Zanardi Chassis and Brad Tyrrell 2nd Place Yamaha Heavy Monaco X130 chassis.monaco-logo-new.gif

Gold Star Round 1, Manawatu
After a strong result at the North Island Champs Kaleb Ngatoa took to his home track in Palmerston North and dominated the field with 5 race wins out of the 5 races contested in Junior Restricted in his Monaco Junior Chassis. Joining him in 6th place was Zane Riddick in his Monaco Chassis also.
Maddison Wise started Gold Star off in dominating form winning 3 of the 4 heats then going on to win the final also, making this more impressive was this was achieved in a 18 Kart Junior Yamaha field in 5 heat format, joining him in the top 6 was Hawkes Bay racer Trey Nairn in 4th place overall, both boys running Monaco Chassis.zanardi-logo.gif

Junior Max Cup, Hamilton
Defending Junior Max Cup champion CJ Sinclair was making his final Junior start before moving to seniors, and he made it count defending his 2011 crown in his brand new Kosmic Mercury kart, rounding out the podium in a Kosmic onslaught was Campbell Joyes and Survarn Naidoo placing 2nd and 3rd , the latter two making a early statement for the 2012 Junior Rotax Challenge. James Blair made a welcome return to competitive racing with a strong 5th place run overall in his Monaco X128c chassis.

Gold Star Round 2, Taranaki
Kaleb Ngatoa made it 9 out of 9 race wins in the Gold Star Junior Restricted series so far with a dominating display in the rain at Taranaki, local Monaco driver Zane Riddick kept him honest with a strong 2nd place run making it a Monaco 1-2 result.
Maddison Wise also continued his strong run in the series, winning 3 of the 4 races contested Maddison finished a full 19 points in front of the second place getter, Travis Day also had a strong run in Junior Yamaha coming home 4th overall in his Zanardi Kart.

Mount Wellington CIK Xmas Meet
CJ Sinclair started his first ever senior meeting in Rotax Light at the Mount Wellington CIK Meeting, with 24 drivers contesting the class at Mount Wellington’s demanding circuit, CJ went on to dominate the final over a start studded field, to win the 15 lap race by over a second in his Kosmic Mercury chassis, a well deserved result after a hard days racing.Kosmiclogo.jpg
James Blair continued his current run of form to finish 4th place in Formula Junior class, as well as Junior Restricted racer Dylan Smith coming home in 2nd place.
