What was Kartsport Southland Raceway is about to take a naming transformation with Invercargill Oil Shop confirming naming right sponsorship for the next 3 years at the Invercargill track.

The Club hasn’t had a track sponsor for the last 4 years and with times being pretty tough out there it was very difficult to get a business to commit to taking on naming rights, this makes it all the more exciting for the Southland Club to secure Invercargill Oil Shop. Owners of Invercargill Oil Shop John and Pam Keast have been members of the Club for many years now, there children Rose and George both racing and eldest daughter Johanna always on hand to help out on race day as well, so its great to have a family who are already so involved with the Club stepping up, the track will now be officially known as “Invercargill Oil Shop Kart Raceway”.

We look forward in the coming months to seeing the transformation at the track as the new signage goes up, and the karts don the Invercargill Oil Shop logo.
