KartSport has always been a big part of my family’s life with my father racing internationally and then myself and my two brothers carrying that on. I first started driving at the age of 7 but did not get into racing properly until I was 9. Racing has taken us all over the country competing at club and national level.

After winning a few national titles and having the honour of representing New Zealand at the Rotax Max World Final I had the opportunity to go race and live in Europe. I spent 3 years racing over there with the highlight being taking 3 pole positions in a row at the European Championship and finishing 3rd in 2008 and 4th in 2009.

From there my racing took a backward step and I started working more as a mechanic for a factory team. This was an awesome experience where I got to work with some of the best drivers in the world and learnt so much from them.
After a few years doing this I started my own team to run drivers in the European Rotax Max Championship. We managed to win with a driver in DD2 Masters in our debut year and took a junior driver from just making the final at the first round to winning heat races at the last round and then go on to win the Rotax Grand Final later that year.
