THE 2017 MAX CHALLENGE OF NEW ZEALAND

2017 will be the eighteenth running of the NZ and worldwide Rotax Max Challenge. Since the first Rotax Max Challenge, NZ has sent a total of 68 drivers to the Rotax Grand Finals.

The NZ Rotax Max Challenge has become renowned for not only the magnificent racing but also the massive prize pool that is offered each year. Again in 2017 this will continue, with the Grand Final seats and now a SuperMasters seat  (subject to minimum entry number of 10 at closing date for Round 1).

Here’s what you need…

Any brand of Kart, a Rotax Max engine and YOU the driver!

In 2017 There will be 4 classes:

Rotax Max Junior
Rotax Max Light
Rotax Max DD2
Rotax Max DD2 Masters (over 32 years) plus first SuperMaster (over 50 years) will be recognised.

2017 Prize Seats for Grand Finals, to be held at the Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimao, Portugal on 4-11 November 2017.

Rotax Max DD2 2 seats
Rotax Max DD2 Masters 2 seats
Rotax Max DD2 SuperMaster 1 seat (subject to minimum entry)

Due to a change in CIK-FIA age group regulations, BRP Rotax have announced that competitors competing in the Junior class at the 2017 Rotax Grand Finals must not have had their 16th birthday before 31-12-17.
