Kartsport in New Zealand started around the late 1950's. KartSport New Zealand are compiling a history of kartsport in New Zealand from its inception in 1959 and several articles, photographs and other interesting items are being archived here. There is also an archive of past KartSport New Zealand Island and National Champions plus a Vintage Kart register and vintage photos. If anyone has anything of interest they wish to add to this history or can be of any assistance please e-mail us or contact us and let us know how you can help. If you wish to be included on the Vintage Kart register please send your details to the kartSport New Zealand Development and Administration Manager. |

Vintage Kart Register |

Anyone interested in older karts or vintage karting should contact Mark Jenkinson at jenkinsonm@wca2.co.nz and be kept up to date with what the NZ Vintage Kart Register is doing. They are always looking for older karts, parts and engines so don’t throw them away or leave them lying in the shed. Even the simplest parts like 1”, 25mm and 30mm 2 piece rear hubs, sprocket carriers, clutches, exhausts, wheels and tyres etc may help someone out. McCulloch and Rotary engines and parts. Now over 30 Karts Registered. |
