Antidoping tests

As a logical follow-up to the antidoping consciousness-raising campaign jointly conducted in 2006 by the CIK-FIA and the FIA Institute for Safety, twelve antidoping tests were carried out during the 2007 CIK-FIA Championship season. These tests took place at Mariembourg (B) within the framework of the World Championship and of the World Cup for KF2 and at Sarno (I) within the framework of the World Cup for KZ1 and of the European KF3 Championship.

All the tests proved to be negative.

Exclusion of the Entrant/Driver Mahé from Race 2 of the German round of the CIK-FIA European Superkart Championship for nonconformity of his fuel

Further to the fuel tests carried out after the last round of the 2007 CIK-FIA European Superkart Championship at the Sachsenring (D) and because of the nonconformity of the fuel sample taken at the end of Race 2 from kart No. 33 driven by Benjamin Mahé (F), the Stewards of the meeting have taken the decision to exclude the Entrant/Driver concerned.
