Just 72 hours after receiving the results, KartSport New Zealand has published the recent 2010 Participants Survey Report.

Highlights from the Report were presented by Mike Loftus from BrandAdvantage to Delegates at the 2010 National Conference on Saturday 21st August. Response from Members and Officials was a stunning 478 competed questionnaires.

“The number of responses equated to around 45% of all KartSport New Zealand Licenced Members, which was an outstanding result” said Loftus. “There were some very clear messages coming through from Members, which were meaningfully discussed with Club representatives at the KartSport New Zealand Conference.”

The results will form a major input in the development of a new KartSport New Zealand Strategic Plan. Over coming weeks we will be drilling down into the data to identify key issues on a segment by segment basis. While the report indicates we are doing many things reasonably well, it has also identified opportunities for improvement and change at both a national and club level.

Particularly pleasing was the feedback from KartSport Academy graduates and the desire for more KartSport Academy courses to assist the development of competitor and mechanic skills at the Explore and Learn level. A number of Clubs have already committed to allocating more Academy coaching dates into their 2011 event calendars.

Each KartSport Club will soon also receive raw Survey data regarding the responses made by its respective Club Members. Clubs will be able to use this data for their own purposes.
