It has been bought to my attention that people are fitting plastic fuel tanks to karts that may not be suitable for this use. If a fuel tank breaks down or splits because it is not made from material that will withstand petrol we could have drivers getting seriously burnt. My recommendation is that you only use purpose made kart fuel tanks supplied by a reputable dealer. If you choose not to do this please check very carefully that what you use is suitable for containing petrol.
