KartSport New Zealand wishes to announce the establishment of the Ross Tait Trust. Ross received very serious injuries as the result of an incident at the 2009 NZ SuperKart Championships in February. Ross is currently recovering from his injuries at a specialist hospital unit in Wellington. He is expected to be in hospital for some months.

The Trust has been established to provide assistance to Ross, a self employed plumber, and his wife Alex.

The trustees are Lance Hickey, KartSport New Zealand President, Brent Melhop, KartSport New Zealand Treasurer and Wayne Jack, family friend and karter.

A special bank account has been set up at the National Bank. Contributions to the Ross Tait Trust can be made to Account # 06 0507 0182659 00.

To help launch the Trust members of the karting trade have generously donated products and services to be raffled.
