KartSport New Zealand Competition Licence Application Forms
All persons competing in any kartsport competition at any level in New Zealand must hold a current KartSport New Zealand Competition Licence.
This Competition Licence is only available from the KartSport New Zealand Competition Licence Secretary on application. An applicant must complete the appropriate application form and medical declaration (available for download below) and become a financial member of an affiliated Club. For an applicant under 18 years of age a birth certificate is also required. The completed application forms, proof of Club membership and licence fee must be sent to the Competition Licence Secretary who will process the application and issue the licence. There is a concession rate for subsequent family members residing at the same address provided the first member pays a full licence fee.
The Licence application form is available for download below and must be completed in full - all six pages.
KartSport New Zealand Competition Licences are issued for a 12 month period from the date of first issue.
For New Applicants - the Competition Licence period is for 12 months from the day of issue and expires at midnight on the last day of that month, 12 months after issue.
For Licence renewals - the Licence period is for 12 months from the date of expiry of the previous year’s Licence and the Licence expires at midnight on the last day of the month 12 months after issue.
A Competition Licence issued on 12 June 2011 will expire on 30 June 2012.
A Competition Licence issued on 12 June 2011 will expire on 30 June 2012, however if the holder does not apply to renew the Licence until 16 September 2012 the new Licence will still expire on 30 June 2013.
NOTE: Family members residing at the same address will be able to choose different renewal dates.
All Licence Renewals and new Licences require either the lease or purchase of a Personal Transponder from KartSport New Zealand in accordance with rules. Details on the lease/purchase of a transponder can be found in the licence application form available for download below.
Return of Transponders
If returning a leased transponder, please un-register it from mylaps.com. Simply delete your transponder number, username and password. Transponders cannot be reissued until this has been done and the original lessee is the only person who can do this. Any new lessee is not able to log on until the previously leased transponder has been un-registered by the previous lessee from mylaps.com.
