Congratulations to our new champions and all the 169 competitors who contested the events, including 24 Briggs LO206 karts running in two support classes at the South Islands.

Entries are now open for the 2020/21 WPKA Goldstar Series. The last series set a record of 136 average round entries. A fabulous series that provides a great stepping stone up from Club Day competition and an opportunity to help secure your Tier 1 Competition Licence rating in time for the 2021 NZ Sprint Championships.

Last Call National Endurance Championships 

Entries close 13th November for the second running of this unique four-hour Briggs & Stratton NZ supported KartSport New Zealand Championship. 

Following the first very successful event in 2019, KartSport Wellington is again hosting the event. Last year Team Lexus Landscaping, made up of Wellington clubbies (Stirling Hughes, Tim Hobbs and Augustin Gonzalez), took home the title with a very well planned and executed drive.

Who will get their names on the impressive new “Stuart Park Memorial Trophy this year?

Loads of fun, loads of laps and loads of laughs at the prizegiving. Get a couple of mates to join you, One Day Licence holders permitted.

Dates and venues have now been confirmed for the 2021 ROK Cup NZL Series. Prizemoney, seats at the 2021 ROK Cup Superfinal, OMP race suits and international travel money up for grabs for Mini ROK, ROK DVS Junior and ROK DVS Senior class winners and a new Mini ROK engine for the Cadet ROK winner.

Nelson's Alison Hill - 2020 Volunteer of the Year

Normally awarded on Awards Night at the KartSport National Conference, (cancelled this year), the opportunity was taken at this year's South Island Championships prizegiving to present KartSport Nelson's Alison Hill with the 2020 Volunteer of the Year Award. The Award was presented on behalf of KartSport New Zealand by Vice President Brent Melhop.

Alison performs the vital role of Race Controller at KartSport Nelson, a role she has undertaken for the last 7 years.
