New Legends Category & Rule Changes

The KartSport New Zealand latest Rule Changes (2021-4) released:

  • The Masters' age group has been simplified along with the introduction of a new “Legends” category. Both changes reflecting the increased interest and opportunity to encourage Masters and now Legends (60 plus) competitors to compete at all levels of events.
  • Briggs & Stratton class name changes

National Endurance Championship Titles 

More Endurance National Titles are up for grabs at the upcoming 2021 KartSport New Zealand National Endurance Championship on the 2nd October 2021 at the Kartsport Wellington Gazley Raceway.

With the new rules announced in Rule Changes 2021-4, the following National Titles will also apply to Endurance Nat's if entries are received in these classes by the close of entries on Friday 3rd September 2021 at 5 pm.

  • 1st Overall – Awarded the Stu Park Memorial Trophy.
  • 1st Briggs LO206 Light.
  • 1st Briggs LO206 Light Master (drivers over the age 40 -59, does allow up to 2 Legends i.e over the age of 60)
  • 1st Briggs LO206 Light Legend (drivers over the aged over 60 years – all 3 drivers must be over the age of 60 to be eligible)
  • 1st Briggs LO206 Heavy.
  • 1st Briggs LO206 Heavy Master (drivers over the age 40 -59, does allow up to 2 Legends i.e over the age of 60)
  • 1st Briggs LO206 Heavy Legend (drivers over the aged over 60 years – all 3 drivers must be over the age of 60 to be eligible)

Tracks Covid19 Alert Level 2 Ready
