This photo is of the winning Auckland team from the 1977 Auckland/Wellington challenge held in the wet at New Plymouth.
The Team is (left to right): Neil Sheehan, Alan Roach, Mark Prouse, Noel (Noddy) Simpson, Adele Karlsson, Graham Harrison & Grant Smith. Many of these people went on to serve KartSport in a number of ways with Noel Simpson and Graham Harrison both being honoured in later years as Life Members.
