Competition in Australia
Under the Trans Tasman Agreement between KartSport New Zealand and Karting Australia, a Competition Visa is required. This Competition Visa is issued by the KartSport New Zealand Licence Secretary. If you wish to race in Australia, your KartSport New Zealand Competition Licence will be recognised but you will require a Competition Visa and an International Medical Card. Trans Tasman Visas are valid for 1 calendar year only. Please complete the appropriate forms which are available for download below and forward, together with the application fee, to the Licence Secretary.

Competition in Other Countries
Competitors wishing to travel outside New Zealand/Australia to compete at a CIK-FIA International event require an International Licence, a Competition Visa and an International Medical Card. These are issued by the KartSport New Zealand Licence Secretary. Please complete the appropriate forms which are available for download below and forward, together with the application fee, to the Licence Secretary.

International Licences are to be applied for only when required. When applying for an International Licence, the required application form, current passport photos, completed medical examination form, current KartSport New Zealand competition licence (with a minimum 'A' rating) and the application fee must be forwarded to the KartSport New Zealand Licence Secretary. Drivers travelling to compete overseas must make an application for an international licence at least 30 days prior to departing New Zealand. International Licences are valid for 1 calendar year only.

Both Trans Tasman and International Visas are only valid with a current KSNZ Licence.

International Licence holders should be aware that if competing at a CIK sanctioned event the CIK bill each ASN who have competitors competing, a fee towards the CIK trophy fund. When this arises the competitor will be responsible for this cost. Further information on this cost can be obtained from the Licence Secretary.
