Free WiFi by Tyres On The Go

KartSport New Zealand is pleased to announce that all four rounds of the upcoming Top Half Series will have FREE WIFI available to all competitors, thanks to the support of Tyres On The Go.

Tyres On The Go is the innovative new mobile service division of Carter's Tyre Service, designed to bring the convenience of on-the-go tyre services directly to you. Their mission is to deliver high-quality, reliable tyre services right at your doorstep, reducing downtime and ensuring you stay on the move. As part of KartSport New Zealand’s partnership with Carter’s, the new brand will now be seen at more events, while also being tied into offering a key service to competitors.

“With our sport continuing to move more towards digital solutions at events, demand for reliable WiFi at tracks has never been higher. With the launching of the Incident Notification System, drivers and teams now have more information than ever before on judicial decisions being made, but they also require reliable access. While clubs continue to look to improve their own infrastructure, the support of Tyres On The Go, powered by Carter’s Tyre Service, will allow us to connect greater with competitors throughout the series. A massive thank you to the Carter’s Tyre Service team for supporting this initiative,” commented KartSport NZ Chief Operating Officer, James Hadley.

Access to the free WiFi will be incredibly easy for competitors, with a password-less entry to the connection. The WiFi itself will utilise Starlink, which will help skirt around any reception issues that some venues suffer with.

Talking about the new initiative, Carter’s Tyre Service CEO Mike Hollier was enthusiastic about the opportunity.

“Carter’s Tyre Service is excited to launch our new Tyres On The Go brand with the support of KartSport New Zealand and its member venues. We’ve invested heavily in a fleet of fully equipped vans to deliver our high-quality, convenient on-the-go service—whether you’re at home or work—in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch.

One of our vans will be present at each of the Top Half Series rounds, allowing karting competitors and teams to see the service in action and learn more about what we offer. We’re also committed to supporting better officiating information flow for these competitors. Additionally, we are looking to employ tyre technicians for Tyres On The Go. Come talk to us about the service and the career progression opportunities at Carter's Tyre Service,” said Mike Hollier.

The first round of the Top Half Series kicks off this weekend at KartSport Rotorua, with action Saturday and Sunday.
