2024 APL KartSport North Island Sprint Champs


KartSport Hamilton hosted the 2024 APL KartSport North Island Champs over Labor Weekend.

The weekend was filled with fiercely competitive racing, and although rain was predicted both Saturday and Sunday, only one race was affected with a mild down pour.

 

 

In Rotax DD2 we saw 1st place go to Jackson Rooney, 2nd place to Josh Bethune and 3rd place to Olivia Lorenzen.

In Vortex ROK DVS, Kiahn Burt came in 1st, followed by Jake Young in 2nd and Jack Amon in 3rd.

 

In Vortex Mini ROK (VMR) Matthew Schaw finished 1st, Matthew Fell in 2nd and Riley Craig in 3rd.

 

 

In Vortex ROK DVS Junior, 1st place went to Miles Baker, 1nd place went to Carson Daly and 3rd place went to Lachlan Tombleson.

 

 

In Rotax Max Heavy Ryan Urban took 1st place, followed by Hiro Sheridan in 2nd and Adam Bell in 3rd.

In Rotax Max Light Tom Bewley came in 1st, while Ryan Crombie finished 2nd, and Jamie Thompson in 3rd.

 

In Cadet ROK we saw 1st go to Nico Thomasen, 2nd place to Joey Zhou and 3rd place to Xan Twilley.

 

 

In Rotax Max Junior Lachlan Tombleson came in 1st, Miles Baker in 2nd and Carson Daly in 3rd.

 

And last but not least, In KZ2 Graeme Smyth took 1st place, followed by Jay Urwin in 2nd and Nathan Crang in 3rd.
