Like any sport, Karting relies on the dedication of passionate volunteers. However, the limited pool of such is fast becoming an issue. KartSport NZ's leadership team is charging ahead with ambitious plans to modernize the sport and create a more vibrant and sustainable future.

Motorsport demands a lot from its volunteers, from technical to race officiating, and it's no secret that the demographic is aging, while costs are also rising. But with a renewed focus on updating our approach to these complicated issues, we're ready to rev up the energy and take karting to new heights.

Our Officiating White Paper below highlights our current issues, plus lays out our immediate strategy. With momentum building, it's clear this isn't just a pipe dream and we're already making great progress on some exciting projects.
